So, I returned from Ring*Con and bloody hell, it was AWESOME!!!
But more on that later...
thainpippintook, could you please please please do me a favour? As you know, I´m still writing on my story (and it´s getting huge). Could you have a look over it (I mean, because my grammar isn´t good) so I want you all (the pythonslashers) to read it more easily.
Today is THE day. Ring*Con! Finally! We´ve waited over a year! Just having some breakfast and then in half an hour, we´ll drive. We´re pretty excited! Whooot! So, I´ll see you on Monday, have a nice weekend!
Okay, just one and a half day till Ring*Con! I can´t wait any longer! *woot* It will be a party of special magnificance! [/bilbo] I just finished my elvish calligraphy-book for the art-contest at Ring*Con.
*note to myself* Never look at this pic ever again!!!
Erm, what else?
My plans for London next year are becoming more and more serious. I miss London, although I´ve been there a few days ago. It´s a pitty, I´ve been to London a week too early, cause Jonesy´s doing a book-signing this weekend. Maybe next year, so I´ll bring him for you, Pippin! Mwaha! Damn it! I´m frustrated. Not important, anyway.
I ordered the Python biography a few minutes ago, so it´ll be here when I´ll return from Ring*Con. Whee! I´m soo excited! I swear, I can´t sleep tomorrow!
So, I´m back from London and still tired from the trip. I arrived home at 4 am today and hadn´t slept for almost 46 hours. But the trip was greeeeaaat! Oh, how I missed Big Ben. We visited Madame Tussauds. It´s awesome! You can touch every skulture! Saskia and I made a photo of us with Robbie Williams. Mwahaha! But I think the museum is too expensive, though. We paid 24.99 pounds each. But it was great. I´m not able to post any pics now, but I hope in a few days, because the pics are on the digicam of my brother-in-law, and he took it home, of course. But I will post them later. Well, after we visited Madame Tussauds, we wanted to go back to Picadilly circus. We wanted to take the bus (for we had a bus-ticket for the whole day), but guess what? On Trafalgar Square there was a demo and no bus was driving there. We had to walk all the way back, which is quite a long way. We also visited Harrods (I needed new tea) and the Virgin Megastore (I bought "Monty Python - in the beginning") on Oxford Street. Sadly, we hadn´t enough time to get closer to Big Ben, but next March I´ll be in London for a 4-day-vacation, I think, I´ll have more time then. :D
So greetings from a very very very exhausted but glad Melanie
